Hostile Entities

   First, we feel we must preface this section with a disclaimer. While people do not, and may never, fully understand ghosts and poltergeists, we know so much less, comparatively speaking, about hostile entities that there seems to be no satisfactory theory regarding what they are. So, all we can put into this section are the few things we think we know about them.

    What we are referring to here as hostile entities would also be referred to by others as “demons” or “elementals”. They have never had a physical form that we know of, and therefore, on the rare occasions they are seen, appear most often as dark, shadowy figures or a mist of some sort. They are very rarely encountered at all, but when they are, they make it fairly clear that they possess an intelligence and that intelligence is directed toward terrorizing their victims and maybe even possession. They seem to be extremely hostile and, for safety’s sake, should always be regarded as dangerous.

    They are distinguished from other kinds of activity in several ways. First, it should be readily apparent that they are not a residual haunt. They have intelligence, the ability to respond and do not simply repeat a pattern. They can be distinguished from an intelligent haunt by the fact that they are almost always hostile ( unlike an intelligent haunt) and they never possessed a physical body, therefore they rarely manifest as something recognizable. They may be mistaken for a poltergeist, because both phenomena can involve violence, but a poltergeist is caused by the energy of a living person and is not a sentient entity.

    People who are the victims of a hostile entity may be subject to unspeakable violence and extreme terror and despair. There is reason to believe that even moving may not help, as the entity may follow the victims to a new location. Religious cleansing rituals may help, but the victims must truly believe that the ritual will help and even then, there are no guarantees. There is reason to believe, based upon previous cases, that denying the being the fear, anger and despair it seems to crave can diminish or resolve the activity.

    Those who may be experiencing the activity of a hostile entity are encouraged to seek help immediately from a local paranormal group or religious authorities.
