Rules and Regulations

1. Investigations will be conducted in pairs or teams. No investigator is to be left alone.

2. All teams will be outfitted with the following equipment:

        1 flashlight per investigator

        1 EVP recording device per team

        1 EMF detector per team

        1 temperature gauge per team

        extra batteries consisting of 2 full rounds of all batteries required for all                            equipment carried by the team

        provisions of food and beverage

        1 two-way radio per team

3. For each digital camera, the team will carry two extra sets of batteries and an extra memory card. For each film camera, the team will carry extra batteries, if appropriate, extra flash, if possible, extra lenses, if possible, and at least ten rolls of 800 ISO film. For each video recorder, the team will carry enough batteries and tape for at least eight hours of recording.

4. When taking pictures in cold weather, steps must be taken to prevent breath vapor from appearing in photos, giving a false positive result, i.e. breathing into a shirt sleeve.

5. The group will always carry a first aid kit and all group members will be made aware of its location.

6. All group members will receive training in relevant terminology and theories, use of equipment, proper investigative procedures and use of basic first aid.

7. There will be no smoking.
